The desert highway links Yuli County and Qiemo County and crosses the Taklimakan Desert， the second-largest desert in the world， called “the Sea of Death?！?With a total length of 334 kilometers， it is the longest desert-crossing highway， and runs for 307 kilometers in the desert。
